Ingredients:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g sugar
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 200 g ground hazelnuts
  • 125 g milk chocolate coating
  • HIGH BAKING WAFERS (diameter 4-5 cm)

Preparation:

  1. Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff. Slowly add the sugar and then add the nutmeg and nuts.
  2. Distribute the HIGH BAKING WAFERS on baking trays and place small mounds of dough on top using two teaspoons.
  3. Place the cookies in the preheated oven. To dry them, wedge a wooden spoon in the oven door for the last 15 minutes so that the door does not close completely.
  4. Roughly chop the chocolate coating and melt it in a hot water bath. Dip the bottom or sides of the cookies into the chocolate and leave to dry on a wire rack.

Tip:

To prevent the pastry from becoming too dark, you may want to cover it with aluminum foil before the specified baking time has elapsed.
